Condition: Sehr gut. Erste Auflage dieser Ausgabe. 767 (1) Seiten. 20,4 cm. Sehr guter Zustand. . - Katherine Jean "Kate" Ross (June 21, 1956 March 12, 1998) was an American mystery author who wrote four books set in Regency-era England about the dandy Julian Kestrel. The Lullaby Cheat (1997), a short story featuring Kestrel, is included in the mystery anthology Crime Through Time, edited by Miriam Grace Monfredo and Sharan Newman. Hardcover. Condition: Good (ex-library). Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Hardcover. 337 pages. *** PUBLISHING DETAILS: Hodder and Stoughton, UK, 1993. First Edition. *** CONDITION: The book itself is in good (ex-library) condition and comes in very good dust jacket. More specifically: Ex-library with usual marks, stamps, stickers. Edges of boards have superficial wear. Spine has moderate lean. Dust jacket has moderate creasing. Dust jacket is unclipped. Dust jacket is protected in clear, plastic sleeve. Pages are reasonably tanned. *** ABOUT THIS BOOK: Julian Kestrel is the walking definition of a Regency-era dandy. He cares about little beyond the perfection of his tailoring, he lives for the bon mot, and his life has the specific gravity and the fleeting charm of a soap-bubble. At least that's what he'd like you to think. In fact, it rather suits Kestrel to be perpetually underestimated, particularly when as in this instance his weekend at a glamorous country estate is spoiled by a dead girl's body being found in his bed. *** Quantity Available: 1. Category: Fiction; Crime; ISBN: 0340595426. ISBN/EAN: 9780340595428. Inventory No: 21050246.
