Edited by Brander Matthews and Ashley Horace Thorndike. Hardcover (dark blue with gilt University seal and title). Condition: Very Good for its age. The corners are bruised to whitening, but not severely; also the top edge and foot of the spine and the bottom edge of the covers. Three or four small, light scrapes along the outer (fold) edges of the spine and four light scrapes on the lower front cover (the longest, 5/8"). On the flyleaf, a penciled early price and a UPC sticker. The pages are lightly tanned at the edges. The top edge of the page block shows some light scrapings. Otherwise, the pages are clean, unmarked, and complete. The binding is strong and secure, but not attached to the spine. 452 pages. Packaged using bubble wrap and a sturdy cardboard box.
