About the Author:
POLLY TEALE’s plays includes an acclaimed adaptation of Jane Eyre, After Mrs Rochester, about the troubled life of Jean Rhys, and Mine, all of which she directed for Shared Experience. Her most recent play Speechless adapted with Linda Brogan from Marjorie Wallace’s The Silent Twins was an Edinburgh Fringe First award-winner in 2010 and will be revived in Autumn 2011. All are published by NHB. She lives in London.
