I started writing the Real Vampires series more than ten years ago. I planted the seeds for this book then. Silly me, I had no idea I'd want to write about when Gloriana would be turned vampire. But then I thought, why not? What a momentous decision--deciding to become vampire. As I wrote the other books in the series, it became clear that Jeremiah, as her sire, was a major influence in her life. I had to figure out exactly how they met and fell in love. What fun! So come along for the ride. After all that time, I found it surprisingly easy to write the greatest love story of all time--for Glory and Jerry, that is.
