But as you can imagine, their good intentions run into some big, bad opposition from within and without, not the least of which is Evangelist Johnesther Mayberry. You see, Johnesther, the illustrious First Lady, and the wily Head Deacon Raython Bliss are secretly mounting a coup against her unsuspecting husband, the Right Reverend, and equally fine, Pastor John Mayberry. It's gonna take the Spirit of the Lord to sort this mess out!

Hope you'll enjoy reading W.O.O.F. I contemplated this story for over five years, but was reticent to write it because I knew for it to be compelling--more than just another 'church' book--there had to be strong characters with real issues from which they needed to be healed. It was not until I attended a workshop on the campus of Tuskegee University and heard an unforgettable testimony from a woman who had overcome incredible odds to be a professional and personal success that I decided this was indeed a story that needed to be told. Hopefully, W.O.O.F. will encourage and inspire us all to see our personal problems as obstacles that can be overcome through faith in Jesus Christ and the power of His word. And of course, it's stirred up with a little humor and spice to make it fun ('cause that's what I do). Enjoy!
