Lost In A Mellow Rain is the second major work of a young, brilliantly gifted, twenty-first century, poet, Richard A. Parks, Jr. Born in Alabama during the last quarter of the twentieth century, he writes in a manner that epitomizes strength and speaks with a voice that is more than idle words. As with his previous book, Someone Is Sleeping In My Head, he writes with eloquence and wit. However, with this volume, he permits the reader to look even deeper into his psyche, as he expands the scope and depth of his own reality based emotions; those of a young Black man, in America.
