William L. Finley: Pioneer Wildlife Photographer - Hardcover

William L. Finley was a passionate conservationist, had a long career in public service for the Oregon Fish and Game Commission, wrote extensively on wildlife and nature topics, and took over 200,000 feet of motion pictures, many of them early classics. but he is probably best remembered for the black and white photographs of birds which he and his friend and colleague Herman Bohlman took between 1900 and 1908. This book reproduces over 200 photographs of outstanding interest from all phases of Finley's career. Includes bibliography. 197 pp.
