About the Author:
Nicholas Faith is a well-known journalist and author of the previous books in this series, the best-selling Black Box, Crash, Mayday and Blaze, in addition to the Channel 4 books Classic Trucks, Classic Ships and Classic Trains. In 1992 his book The World the Railways Made was turned into a major BBC television series, Locomotion. As a journalist his previous posts include Industrial Editor at The Sunday Times and Assistant Editor of The Economist. He lives in North London.
