Put on a sun hat and pen a note on a real note card from a package of Van Gogh Floral Writer's Notecards from Galison Green. The rich paintings of summer flowers make you feel the sunshine of southern France, where they were painted. Six cards reproduce detail of a thick stand of blue flags from the 1889 painting Irises, now in the J. Paul Getty Museum. The other six card show a closeup of four sunflower heads from the 1888 painting Sunflowers, from the Neue Pinakothek, Munich. The cards are really beautiful, and the two-tones of green striped envelopes complement them well.
