Review:
"The entries and short and to-the-point, with a minimum of analysis and comments, and are excellent for looking up those elusive details without having to wade through lengthy biographies. A short glossary defines common military terms, and a map section situates the battles of the main conflicts described." -- Canadian Military History - Autumn 96
