As Christy and Aaron become absorbed in an adventure that weaves together past and present, Maxwell ( The Diamond Tiger ) tosses in tidbits about archeology without impairing the story's almost nonstop action or putting a crimp in the romance. Maxwell's control of her material and unabashed willingness to entertain make this book a success.
